Researchers from the Institut Pasteur, Inserm, CNRS and Paris Descartes - Sorbonne Paris Cité University recently published a large-scale study in Nature Genetics based on almost 7,000 strains of Listeria monocytogenes - the bacterium responsible for human listeriosis, a severe foodborne infection.

• Creation of the Trypanosomes Molecular Biology five-year group

Scientific events

The next lecture organized by the Scientific Council - "Protein phosphorylation in bacteria: on mechanisms and networks"  - will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2016.

Center

The Journée de la recherche translationnelle is a day dedicated to translational research with a session on human physiopathology, a session on human immunology and microbiology and a session on human genetics. The day will end with a talk on public engagement in 100,000 genomes projects and be followed by a round table (in French) "Comprendre le génome humain et le modifier : espoirs et implications éthiques" moderated by Christian Bréchot and Lluis Quintana-Murci with Jean-Claude Ameisen and renowned researchers.
