Shoot for 2019 Pasteurdon short films

Last year, the Department of Communications and Fundraising held sessions to shoot the new short films to be shown for the 2018 and 2019 editions of Pasteurdon, in a new location and with a new production team. No fewer than 21 TV presenters and several "extras" from among the Institut Pasteur's staff took part in the shoot.

On Tuesday June 18 and Wednesday June 19, the film shoot continued on the Institut Pasteur campus. This was a great opportunity for many of you to come along and contribute to preparations for the 2019 edition by featuring in these films, alongside eight new presenters asked by television networks : Bénédicte Le Chatelier (LCI), Jérôme Anthony (W9), Carole Rousseau (C8), Myriam Encaoua (LCP-Assemblée nationale), Céline Pitelet (BFM TV), Fanny Wegscheider (BFM Paris), Oriane Mancini (Public Sénat) and Elizabeth Tchoungui (RMC Story). This year, since two television networks could not propose new presenters on the date of the video shoot, two Institut Pasteur researchers were asked to convey messages for the Pasteurdon: Olivier Schwartz (Scientific Director) and Armelle Phalipon (head of the molecular microbial pathogenesis unit).

A big thank you to all the Institut Pasteur staff who generously gave their time for this latest series of short films for Pasteurdon! In groups of up to ten extras, they played their parts in the OMICS entrance hall, under the beady eye of the camera. The session was also a unique chance to meet the various presenters as they took it in turns to be filmed.
