Extension of the abstract submission deadline for the 2016 International Scientific Symposium of the Institut Pasteur International Network

Reminder: The 2016 edition of the International Scientific Symposium will be held from November 29 to December 2 on the Paris campus.

The deadline for abstracts has now been extended to August 16, 2016.

This annual event, entitled "From basic science to biomarkers and tools in global health", will focus on every aspects of research that can potentially lead to new biomarkers.

The event represents a unique opportunity for scientists from all over the world, including scientists working in the International Network, and from both communicable and non-communicable diseases fields, to present their research in the area of global health.

All scientists, clinicians and public health experts from both communicable and non-communicable diseases fields are welcome to submit abstracts for contribution in the following scientific topics:

1.    Biomarker Discovery & Novel Technologies
2.    Bioinformatics, Big Data Analysis and modelling for Biomarkers Development
3.    Biomarkers of environmental importance
4.    Biomarkers in surveillance of human threats and in pathogens discovery
5.    Biomarkers in diagnosis and prognosis of disease outcome
6.    Biomarkers in predictive and personalized Medicine
7.    Biomarkers in host immune response and vaccine discovery
8.    Biomarkers in Drug Discovery & in response to treatment
