A look back at the 2017 European Week for Waste Reduction at the Institut Pasteur

The Quality, Environment and Sustainable Development Department and the Technical Department (part of the Technical Resources and Environment Department) would like to thank you for coming along last Thursday and Friday, November 23 and 24, 2017, to the events organized for the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR).

More than 5,000 official EWWR initiatives have been launched in France to encourage waste prevention, with this year's edition especially focusing on reuse.

The "recovery point" certainly lived up to its promises – all the scientific and administrative equipment dropped off has now gone to happy new owners!

Don't forget that a storeroom for unwanted scientific equipment and furniture is available on campus. You can ask to retrieve or donate items by emailing demenagement@pasteur.fr.

For small items of administrative or scientific equipment (not including electrical or electronic equipment), please contact dechets@pasteur.fr to see if they can be dealt with.

We are already looking forward to next year for the second edition of this event!
