BUILDING WORK

Progress report on the work for the new building to house the CMTV infrastructure

Before the year draws to a close, the newsletter team wanted to provide you with another progress report on the new building that will house the research infrastructure to tackle emerging vector-borne diseases.

The drilling phase, which began in October, is now nearly finished. Over the festive period the building work will stop for two weeks.

The work will start up again on Monday January 6 to complete the drilling stage before the start of the excavation phase, which will run from January 13 until May 2025. This new stage will be less disruptive and especially less noisy than the drilling stage.

When the work starts up again in 2025, the daily finishing time will be 7pm instead of 6pm from Monday to Thursday, and 12 noon on Friday.

Please feel free to contact the team responsible for the building work if you have any questions or requests over the construction period (cmtv@pasteur.fr). The team would like to thank you for your understanding and will provide you with regular updates on how the work is progressing.
