CORONAVIRUS

Artwork by Hervé Di Rosa in the CIS to support the fight against coronavirus

On November 4, a new artwork created as part of the Organoid project was installed in the CIS hall. Alongside one of the vases by artist Barthélémy Toguo  and the digital work Cosmologie du Vivant by Miguel Chevalier, installed in July, you can now admire Decorative Dangerous Disease, a new piece by Hervé Di Rosa.

The artist, a proponent of the concept of "modest art" and founder of the International Museum of Modest Art, created this work in February 2020 in connection with his ongoing collaboration with Olivier Schwartz for the Organoid project over the past few years. In response to the health crisis, the Organoid project has seen the creation of several new works this year, including this one by Hervé Di Rosa, to support the Institut Pasteur in its efforts to tackle COVID-19.

After working with the Institut Pasteur for the first time in 2017 for the redesign of the display cases in the Salle des Actes, Hervé Di Rosa has again demonstrated his commitment and support for the Institut Pasteur with this new work.
