On July 7, the Department for Transformation and Strategic Projects (DTPS) held a second open lecture hall session to celebrate its first anniversary, with several of you attending in person or online.

From the tiger mosquito, now well established in Europe, to endemic species in the tropics or Pacific region, these insects have colonized vast areas of the planet and play a key role in local ecosystems. Only around a hundred mosquito species, some of which potentially transmit viruses, are known to bite humans. Given their diversity and geographic expansion, special efforts must be made to identify these insects and map their distribution.

The SPAIS (Department for Scientific Programming and Incentive Actions) and the Postdoc Office are pleased to announce the launch of a 2025 EMBO Leadership Training grant call dedicated to Institut Pasteur postdocs ready to transition to leading their own team and willing to gain strong insights into Leadership skills.
