• Pasteurdon 2015: more than €1,200,000! €1,205,163 in pledges: this was the amount displayed on the Pasteurdon counter at noon on Monday October 12 after four days of intense fundraising.
• Institut Pasteur staff determined to show their commitment and fighting spirit. Pasteurdon 2015 also enjoyed the unrelenting and massive support of the Institut Pasteur staff themselves.
• 20 km in support of Institut Pasteur scientists. On October 11, no fewer than 70 Institut Pasteur staff members took to the streets of Paris for the prestigious "20km de Paris" road race.
• Prize-giving ceremony for the 2015 French Academy of Sciences awards
• International Pasteur-Weizmann/Servier Prize
• 2015 L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science French Fellowship Awards
The Institut Pasteur is announcing the launch of the 2016 call for proposals for the appointment of group leaders. Unit heads are invited to inform the Scientific Careers Department of the researchers they wish to propose for appointment as "Group Leader" by October 23, 2015 at the latest.
The Center of Biophysics of Macromolecules and their Interactions (PFBMI) organises a theoretical/practical workshop on the switchSENSE technology.
Wednesday October 14 saw the opening of the Scientific Symposium of the Institut Pasteur International Network (RIIP) on the Paris campus. This year’s event was attended by almost 900 participants and based on the theme "Global Health and One Health", looking at the need for a global approach to health research.
In the context of a new strategy for education, the Institut Pasteur is promoting the development of digital teaching, especially MOOCs (Massive Open on-line courses).
The annual intercultural seminar organized by the HR department on the topic "Settling and Living in France" will take place on Tuesday, October 20. Don't forget to note the date in your diaries!
Seasonal flu vaccination sessions are being held for all those who work at the Institut Pasteur (including Orex employees and interns) and hold an IP badge.
