Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
On June 18, the Institut Pasteur, represented by Christian Vigouroux (Chairman of the Institut Pasteur Board of Directors), Michaela Muller-Trutwin (head of the HIV, inflammation and persistence Unit) and Jean-François Chambon (Vice-President Communications and Fundraising), received the 2019 Dermagne Prize alongside the Colbert Committee.
This prize, awarded since 2018 by the Société d'Encouragement pour l'Industrie Nationale (Society for the Encouragement of National Industry), recognizes collective initiatives and action that boost France's image as a country of innovation. The idea is to encourage talent, innovation and know-how that will enhance France's reputation. The winners are chosen for their unwavering commitment in one of several areas, reflecting the multifaceted nature of French diplomacy: humanitarian action, tourism, the environment, the economy, culture, cuisine or the French-speaking world.
In recognition of the efforts made by associations to contribute to France's international reputation, Olivier Mousson, President of the Society, presented the Institut Pasteur with the second edition of the Dermagne Prize on Tuesday June 18.
