For the first time in mainland France, people have contracted the Zika virus. Unlike "imported" cases of the disease, reported by people returning from a trip abroad, these individuals were infected following a mosquito bite in France. Even though they have since recovered, these indigenous cases are a cause of concern for health authorities. The Institut Pasteur's experts took the opportunity to reiterate the risks of contamination with Zika and provide some guidelines for protection from the virus.

The "Milieu Intérieur" Laboratory of Excellence (LabEx) is pleased to invite you to the Population & Systems Immunology symposium in the Jules Bordet room (Metchnikoff building) on November 21, from 9am to 6pm.
Following the recent attacks on its computer network, the Institut Pasteur will strengthen the security of its messaging system. As such, email addresses @pasteur.fr will be protected against spoofing by a mechanism called "SPF".
On November 6, the Institut Pasteur held its long-service award ceremony, attended by Stewart Cole, President, François Romaneix, Senior Executive Vice-President Administration and Finance, and Odile Hermabessiere, Vice-President Human Resources.
The Technical Resources and Environment Department provides the campus traffic flow plan which will be applicable from November 12 onwards. New signage has been installed to indicate the changes.
