The new Institut Pasteur Board of Directors held its first meeting on November 24, 2016 and elected as its Chairman French Council of State Department Head Christian Vigouroux. Christian Vigouroux takes over from Rose-Marie Van Lerberghe.
The next lecture organized by the Scientific Council - "The Wonderful World of Archaeal Viruses" - will be held on Thursday December 8, 2016...
The speaker will be Fabien Guillemot, the founder and CEO and of Poietis, a biotech start-up dedicated to laser-assisted bioprinting of human tissues, created at the end of 2015.
Sanofi has renewed its commitment to the Institut Pasteur for the fifth year running by sponsoring the Sanofi-Institut Pasteur Awards, which each year are presented to world-class scientists in recognition of their innovative work in life science and biomedical research. On Tuesday December 13, from 2 to 5pm, a major scientific symposium will be held in the Émile Duclaux lecture hall at the Institut Pasteur for this year's four award winners to come and present their research.
The training center in the Talent and Organization Development Department has teamed up with the Scientific Secretariat General to offer a Biology for non-biologists course.
The Technical Department and Citech have joined up to offer campus scientists advanced prototyping capabilities via the creation of a Fab Lab (production workshop) offering a variety of services. Its aim is to help you with the design and production of your projects and provide access to prototyping facilities (3D printer, CNC, CAD).
The Technical Department's building workshop center would like to inform you that annual generator tests will be held throughout the campus.
