Launched in October 2020, the ComCor study investigates the environment, practices and places visited by people recently infected with SARS-CoV-2. The aim is to identify factors that might influence the COVID-19 incubation period, in other words the time between an infectious contact with the virus and the onset of the first symptoms.
In connection with the new partnership established in late 2022 between the Institut Pasteur and the University of California San Francisco, Quantitative Biosciences Institute (UCSF QBI) to create an "Institut Pasteur-UCSF QBI center of excellence for emerging infectious diseases," several measures have already been taken to implement and scale up the project.
After securing the HR Excellence in Research Award, part of the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R), in December 2021, the Institut Pasteur community is continuing to implement its action plan. The newsletter team is pleased to present the latest progress and the next steps.
