On Monday March 15, a general staff meeting and discussion session was held on the subject of SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19. This was an opportunity to look at the dynamics of the epidemic, the dynamics of the Institut Pasteur's research and COVID-19 vaccination at the Institut Pasteur. More than 850 of you attended the meeting.

A preliminary study led by scientists at Sorbonne University, the Paris Public Hospital Network (AP-HP) and the Institut Pasteur has revealed the potential of cellular markers as biomarkers of interest for the diagnosis of bacterial or viral infection.

Research

The European Union's Horizon 2020 INFRAIA program has awarded €5 million for the creation of MOSBRI (Molecular-Scale Biophysics Research Infrastructure www.mosbri.eu), an innovative research infrastructure for molecular-scale biophysics. MOSBRI involves a consortium of 13 university centers of excellence and 2 industry partners from 11 European countries, coordinated by the Institut Pasteur.

Fundraising

The 60th Hospices de Nuits-Saint-Georges wine auction, held on Sunday March 14, 2021 at the Château du Clos-de Vougeot, was a resounding success.
