Information and training sessions to facilitate implementation of the Charter for the Prevention and Management of Conflicts of Interest

As announced in September by Stewart Cole, President of the Institut Pasteur (see the newsletter of September 28), all Institut Pasteur staff members are invited to attend the upcoming sessions on interests and conflicts of interest.

A first session lasting roughly an hour will take place on November 21, 2018 at 10.30am in the auditorium of the François Jacob building.

The aim of these sessions is to familiarize staff with the notions of interests and conflicts of interest, while also providing tools to help them recognize and deal with these issues in their day-to-day professional activities. There will also be a reminder of the main principles laid down in the Charter for the Prevention and Management of Conflicts of Interest, which is an integral part of the Internal Regulations.

The Legal Affairs Department and the Human Resources Department will subsequently hold a number of additional sessions specifically aimed at various Institut Pasteur departments (scheduled and/or on request). The next meeting of this kind will take place on December 19, 2pm.
