event

It's just 4 days until we get together on campus for an afternoon enjoying each other's company and celebrating the spirit of Team Pasteur. We hope to see lots of you there! As you all now know, on June 21 the senior management team and the Department of Communications – Scientific Outreach are offering all staff the opportunity to share a memorable afternoon together among colleagues and teams, with a host of activities and workshops around campus showcasing the values of the Pasteurian community.

SOLIDARITY

As the Ukrainian people and scientific community continue to grapple with the invasion of their country by Russia, the Institut Pasteur has shown strong support, taking several measures at the very beginning of the conflict to help Ukraine's researchers and wider population. Back in March, it offered to host scientists and organized a collection of essential supplies on campus in conjunction with the mairie (town hall) in Paris' 15th arrondissement.

Agenda

The Open Neuroscience consortium, in partnership with the Institut Pasteur and the University of Sussex, will be holding a symposium on Open Source Microscopy on the Institut Pasteur campus on July 8. Originally planned as a satellite event for the FENS Forum 2022 in Paris (Europe's largest neuroscience conference), the event is open to all and the decision was made to concentrate on microscopy so that it could be broadened to all biological disciplines rather than being specific to neuroscience.
