40 YEARS OF HIV

Nearly 39 million people worldwide are carriers of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), and 1.3 million people contracted HIV in 2022. Forty years after the virus was discovered at the Institut Pasteur, HIV research is still active – the aim is to elucidate the mechanisms of infection so that the virus can be eradicated.

40 YEARS OF HIV

On November 29, just before the opening of the conference "40 years of HIV science," at which he was a highly anticipated speaker, Professor Anthony Fauci, an eminent immunologist and former Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), gave a series of interviews to the Institut Pasteur.

Modernization

After 20 years, Webcampus is set to be replaced by ePasteur, the new daily companion and essential tool for all Institut Pasteur staff. Following more than a year's efforts developing the new intranet, the project team and all those involved are delighted to share the new tool with you and would like to invite you all to the official launch event on December 14!

Company set-up

The next Startup breakfast will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at 9.00 am at the room 11, Pavillon Émile Roux, Institut Pasteur. The theme will be “Market and Value proposition: how to evaluate the potential of your technology for the aim of creating value for your company” with an invited speaker: Julie Rachline, Founder & CEO, LallianSe-Life Sciences Integrator.

In order to stabilize the local network connection and overcome the problems encountered with the current solution, the technical teams will gradually migrate the network authentication system within Institut Pasteur on a building-by-building basis, according to the following schedule.
