Pasteurdon

Many of you turned out on Wednesday, October 9, to launch the 18th edition of Pasteurdon at CIS, in the halls and auditorium! The campus welcomed the entire Pasteur community, as well as all those involved in the operation: ambassadors, patrons, presenters and journalists, TV and radio representatives, and the operation's sponsors.

Translational Science Day is an annual event organized by the Institut Pasteur's Medical Department and attended by leading scientists and clinicians in the field of biomedical research.

On October 4, Institut Pasteur welcomed 19 new students to the “Pasteur-Paris University” (PPU) international doctoral program. Since 2009, the PPU program has offered talented students with a passion for science the opportunity to follow an exceptional doctoral program in the exciting, dynamic and interactive research environment of the Institut Pasteur, in collaboration with Parisian universities.

Company set-up

The Startup Breakfasts are back!  These monthly breakfasts, held at the Institut Pasteur, are designed to introduce you to the various aspects of creating and developing life science companies, and the associated challenges. 

science and society

For the fourth year in a row, the Institut Pasteur is an official partner of the international Utopiales festival, which promotes science fiction as an educational tool to explore the real world. The 25th edition of the festival will be held this year from October 30 to November 3 at La Cité Nantes Congress Center. Once again this year, several Institut Pasteur scientists will be taking part in the round tables.

Human resources

Take part in the activities organized for European Disability Employment Week (EDEW) from November 18 to 22. As in 2023, the Institut Pasteur will once again be involved in this annual initiative to raise awareness among the Institut Pasteur community of the need to improve inclusion for people with disabilities.

In connection with European Sustainable Development Week, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR/RSE) Department held a CSR forum on October 1, from 11.30am to 1.30pm. This was an opportunity for Institut Pasteur staff to find out more and to learn about some best practices that they can implement in their work and departments.

Practical

The Real Estate and Technical Department invites you to drop by building 17 on Thursday October 17th from 9am to 5pm to pick up office furniture (chairs, cupboards, sideboards…).
