As part of our ongoing efforts to improve the quality of working life for Institut Pasteur staff, a key priority of the 2019-2023 Strategic Plan, the Institut Pasteur management team and the PBRP Committee were keen to collect your feedback on the lockdown period and lockdown easing via an anonymous survey.

CORONAVIRUS

To further foster and catalyze research on COVID-19 at Institut Pasteur, the COVID-19 Taskforce is launching a new internal grant program called COVID-19 Research Program (COVID-19-RP). This program aims to support collaborative, interdisciplinary, innovative and ambitious projects that could lead to breakthroughs in the understanding of SARS-CoV-2 pathogenesis and COVID-19 management.

As presented in the newsletter on July 3, 21 skippers eager to get back to ocean racing lined up at the start of the Vendée-Arctique-Les Sables d'Olonne solo unassisted non-stop race on 60-foot monohulls on July 4.

Pasteurdon

This year's Pasteurdon, which will take place in an unprecedented health context, will enjoy the strong support of several TV and radio outlets, including some new partners. The Pasteurdon media partners will be gearing up from the start of September with preparations for the campaign, with two main highlights: the short films and the new radio messages.

education

The Department of Education of the Institut Pasteur will be organizing the 8th edition of the PhD graduation ceremony. The ceremony will take place on Friday, December 4, 2020, at 3pm to celebrate the students who completed their PhD thesis during the 2019-2020 academic year.
