Translational Science Day is an annual event organized by the Institut Pasteur's Center for Translational Science. Leading figures in biomedical research gather each year to present recent discoveries. This year, the theme of the day is "cancer and immunotherapy", and the event is organized jointly with the cancer initiative and the vaccinology and immunotherapy initiative.
The 51st Council of Directors meeting for the 32 member institutes of the Institut Pasteur International Network took place at the Pasteur Center in Cameroon (for the first time in the country) from November 12 to 15, 2019.
The French authorities are advising people to avoid or take extra care when traveling to areas of international tension or conflict. The Institut Pasteur management team would therefore like to remind staff of the procedures that should be followed. Although Institut Pasteur staff are exposed to the same risks as any travelers, they may be targeted by malicious attacks because they belong to a symbolic French institution.
