Institut Pasteur wishes to create a limited number of new research units (U5) on its Paris campus. These units will be created for 5 years and will be composed of up to 6 persons. At the end of the 5-year period, heads of U5 may apply for a classical research Unit (U10).
This year's annual appraisals and career development reviews has begun December 4, 2020, and will run until February 12, 2021. All Institut Pasteur employees now have to take part in the appraisal process, except for those on fixed-term contracts of less than 6 months, PhD students and contract workers, as well as post-doctoral fellows for 2020.
Following an increase in serious incidents in France, the French Prime Minister has decided to raise the Vigipirate national security alert system to the level Urgence attentat ("Attack emergency") for the whole country.
