After crossing the Aube département, the Olympic flame arrived in Paris on July 14, French National Day, and stayed in the French capital for two days. It was carried through the central districts of Paris before heading to the outer districts, and arrived at rue Vaugirard on Monday July 15, passing in front of the Institut Pasteur in a flurry of festivities and music.
Throughout this Olympic summer season, the newsletter team is pleased to present some of the Institut Pasteur staff who are playing a special role in this global event – whether in their capacity as an Institut Pasteur staff member, a volunteer or a sports person. We hope that these profiles will showcase the fantastic diversity of the Institut Pasteur community.
On July 1st and July 2nd, 2024, The Startup team, the Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship office (STTE), and the Department of Research Application and Industrial Relations (DARRI) organized the 9th edition of the Start-me up 2024. The goal was to inspire our Pasteurians and acquaint them with the dynamic realm of startups and the supportive system within the French/EU innovation ecosystem.
A few months ago, the Pasteur Museum rediscovered twelve photomicrographs on glass plates dating from 1867. Previously on display in the former Museum of Research Applications in Marnes-la-Coquette, the photomicrographs bear witness to the early history of photography as used to study the invisible living world.
The Information System Security (SSI) team presents its lookback on year 2022 in its annual activity report. Twenty pages to review the actions of this eventful year for the cybersecurity team and for Institut Pasteur.
