Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
On October 10, the Institut Pasteur welcomed guests to the CIS auditorium for the inauguration of the Center for Research and Innovation in Human Audiology (CeRIAH). This event involved stakeholders from the Fondation Pour l'Audition, the Hearing Institute, Paris City Hall, Inserm and, of course, the Institut Pasteur, all of whom have been firmly committed to the establishment of the new center.
As we prepare for the launch of ePasteur, this week the newsletter team is giving you a further glimpse into this mammoth project! The project to revamp Webcampus began one year ago, with the involvement of multiple departments and several intranet contributors and users.
In June 2022, the Institut Pasteur campus became an inspiring film set for the new Émilie Deleuze film, 5 hectares, starring Lambert Wilson. In the film, French star Lambert Wilson plays a respected Institut Pasteur scientist who, ignoring the advice of his partner, employer and neighbor, decides to invest in a house in Maussac, in France's Limousin region, and then buy himself a tractor in an attempt to blend in with the neighbors
The lectures organized by the Scientific Council are an opportunity to find out about the latest developments in research and knowledge in a particular field. They are also a way of establishing links between specific research challenges and the broad scientific topics explored at each session. These unique lectures are aimed at the entire Institut Pasteur community.
For the third year in a row, the Institut Pasteur is an official partner of the international Utopiales festival, which promotes science fiction as an educational tool to explore the real world. The 24th edition of the festival will be held this year from November 1 to 5 at La Cité Nantes Congress Center. Once again this year, several Institut Pasteur scientists will take part in the round tables.
Given the many construction and renovation projects under way on the Institut Pasteur campus to modernize the different areas and improve the working environment for all staff, the Real Estate and Technical Department will be holding regular meetings for all staff to explain the changes that are happening on campus and provide details of each project. A schedule will soon be made available.
