Since the beginning of the week, you may well have noticed that the railings of the Institut Pasteur's Paris campus are once again being used for an open-air exhibition! The new large-format images, perfectly in keeping with the architectural surroundings, reveal some of the many facets of the Institut Pasteur with a selection of people, colorful scientific images and shots of scientists at work.

The Institut Pasteur Conference Center will be hosting several major scientific conferences in 2018.

Training

Biology for non-biologists course: new sessions in 2018

In 2017, 100 Institut Pasteur staff completed the "Biology for non-biologists" (BNB) course run by the training center in the Talent and Organization Development Department and the Scientific Secretariat General. These sessions, geared towards support staff and assistants based in research units and departments, were a resounding success

100th issue of the "Lettre de l'Institut Pasteur"

For its 100th issue, the quarterly newsletter for Institut Pasteur donors – the "Lettre de l'Institut Pasteur" (LIP) – contains a special feature on autoimmune diseases, which currently affect 8% of the French population, making them the country's third most common category of disease (in terms of frequency and severity) after cancer and heart disease.
